Melissa Magrath, MD
Biography
Dr. Melissa Magrath is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internist whose interests include esophageal motility disorders, GERD, and care of patients with gastrointestinal symptoms after bariatric surgery.
Dr. Magrath received her medical degree from the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine, followed by a residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a fellowship in gastroenterology at NYU.
Her work has appeared in such peer-reviewed medical publications as The American Journal of Gastroenterology, Surgical Endoscopy, and The Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.
Prior to joining WPHPA, Dr. Magrath was a gastroenterologist at Bellevue Hospital and a clinical assistant professor at NYU Langone Health.
