About
Dr. Greenstein is the Director of Breast Imaging at White Plains Hospital, overseeing the breast imaging program at the main Hospital and at three additional outpatient imaging centers in White Plains, New Rochelle and Armonk.
She attended the six-year medical program at Boston University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Massachusetts, and completed an internship in pathology and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Montefiore Medical Center, New York. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology, and has specialized in breast imaging since completing her training in 1989. Dr. Greenstein is licensed in New York and Connecticut, and is a member of the American College of Radiology, Society of Breast Imaging, American Society of Breast Disease, Radiologic Society of North America and National Consortium of Breast Centers. She is also one of about 40 national surveyors for the National Accreditation Program of Breast Centers, the organization that sets the standards for breast centers in the US and abroad.
Her fields of expertise include breast MRI and the performance of all minimally invasive breast procedure types, including vacuum-assisted ultrasound-guided, stereotactic, and MRI guided breast biopsies. Dr. Greenstein is co-author of a textbook on breast MRI "Breast MRI: A Case-Based Approach" released by Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins in 2011.
