About
Dr. Schwartz received his medical degree from University of Health Sciences Chicago Medical School and completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at The University Medical Center at SUNY Stony Brook. He completed his Fellowship in Sports Medicine ' Shoulder, Elbow, and Knee Arthroscopy at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital's Rothman Institute.
He has previously worked as a team physician for high school, college and professional sports, including St. Joseph's University and MLB's Philadelphia Phillies. Dr. Schwartz currently serves as the lead sports medicine physician for the Harrison School District. He has served as an instructor to other orthopedic surgeons for the Arthroscopy Association of North American, is the author of numerous scholarly research articles and chapters in orthopedic surgical textbooks, and has presented his work at several professional conferences.
