Board-certified rheumatologist Dr. Farrah Gutwein has been in practice for over 10 years. She received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, after which she completed an internship and residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in rheumatology, at the New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center.

Dr. Gutwein began her career as an attending physician, Assistant Director of the Rheumatology Clinic, and physician educator at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, followed by attending physician positions at Rheumatology Associates of Southern Westchester and at Phelps Medical Associates/Northwell Health Physician Partners; she also was Medical Director of the Outpatient Infusion Center at Phelps.

Her work has been published in such peer-reviewed medical journals as Anesthesiology and BJU International.

In addition to English, Dr. Gutwein speaks Hebrew and Spanish.
