Dr. Julie Sung received her medical degree with distinction in research from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she then completed a residency in internal medicine. Afterwards, she completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Montefiore Medical Center and then returned to Mount Sinai to complete a fellowship in transplant hepatology.
Dr. Sung is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, board-eligible in transplant hepatology, and is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
