Dr. Catalina E. Cincu is an internal medicine physician with White Plains Hospital Physician Associates. Board-certified in both internal medicine and nephrology, she offers the full complement of primary care services, from preventive care to the management of chronic and acute conditions, to patients 18 and older.

Dr. Cincu earned her medical degree from the prestigious Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. After two years of family practice in Romania, she came to the United States, completing her residency in internal medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Cincu then completed a fellowship in nephrology at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in the Bronx, an affiliate of New York Medical College in Valhalla.

Dr. Cincu began her career in the United States as internal medicine physician at Neighborhood and Family Health Center in the Bronx and as an attending physician in the Emergency Department at Metropolitan Hospital Center. She first joined White Plains Hospital in 2005 as a hospitalist before joining Maple Medical Group, now part of White Plains Hospital Physician Associates, as an internal medicine physician in 2007. In 2011, she started an internal medicine practice at Phelps Memorial Hospital, which became Northwell Health Physician Partners in 2018.

Dr. Cincu is committed to helping her patients achieve optimal health through active communication with patients and families and coordination of follow-up care with specialty providers as needed.
