Deborah A. Nunziato-Ghobashy, DO, FAAFP completed her undergraduate degree in Biology from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. She trained in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment during her residency at North Shore-LIJ – Plainview Hospital.
Dr. Nunziato-Ghobashy has practiced as a family medicine physician in private practice in Rockland county since 2014. She is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Nunziato-Ghobashy is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. She is a member of several organizations including the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians and American Academy of Osteopathy.
Prior to starting her medical career, Dr. Nunziato-Ghobashy engaged in research focused on epilepsy and cardiac arrhythmias and has contributed numerous publications on structural and molecular biology.
Her clinical interests include wellness and preventive medicine, adolescent medicine, primary care, and treatment of chronic conditions.
