Dr. Garfield Ashford Dwight Clunie is Director, Maternal-Fetal Medicine at White Plains Hospital. He is board-certified in both Maternal-Fetal Medicine and in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

A native of Jamaica, Dr. Clunie earned his medical degree from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C., followed by completion of a residency in OB/GYN at NYU Downtown Hospital and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Tufts-New England Medical Center.

Dr. Clunie's work experience includes positions at several area hospitals, including serving as an attending physician in the OB/GYN department at Montefiore Medical Center and an earlier stint as Director, Maternal-Fetal Medicine at White Plains Hospital.

In addition, he has been published in such outlets as The Mount Sinai Journal of Medicine and Harvard Medical School's In Vivo magazine, and has contributed to such textbooks as The American Academy of Pediatrics Textbook of Pediatric Care and Medical Complications During Pregnancy.
