Dr. Jeremy Leventhal provides diagnosis and treatment of conditions and diseases of the kidney, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, proteinuria, glomerulonephritis, and kidney stones (including prevention).

Dr. Leventhal received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where he received third-year clerkship honors in medicine. He went on to complete an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals, where he was recipient of the Best Bedside Manner Award. He then completed a fellowship in nephrology from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he stayed on as faculty achieving the rank of assistant professor before leaving to join WPH.

Board certified in nephrology, Dr. Leventhal is involved in clinical research and is the author of many peer-reviewed studies and book chapters, including novel treatments of chronic kidney disease and glomerulonephritis. He often presents at professional conferences, and is a reviewer for many clinical journals.
