Kenneth D. Croen, MD, a graduate of Williams College in Williamstown, MA, earned his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Following his internship, residency, and year as chief resident in internal medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, he undertook a fellowship in infectious diseases at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda.
He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious diseases. Dr. Croen was Chief of Infectious Diseases from 1999 through 2003 and Chief of the Department of Medicine from 2004 through 2008 at White Plains Hospital. Prior to joining SMG, he performed research in infectious disease at the NIH and University of Cincinnati. Dr. Croen is interested in the full spectrum of internal medicine and infectious disease problems. He is also dedicated to an effective use of health information technology to optimize the efforts of the practice and the healthcare community.
