About

Board-certified in endocrinology and internal medicine, Dr. Nancy Tarlin practices at Scarsdale Medical Group in Harrison. She is experienced in treating endocrine disorders and diabetes, as well as teaching patients, medical students and residents about endocrine topics.

Dr. Tarlin received her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. She went on to complete fellowship training in endocrinology at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Prior to joining Scarsdale Medical Group, Dr. Tarlin was the Chief of Endocrinology at NYC Health & Hospitals/Elmhurst and has held privileges at several hospitals throughout the Bronx and Westchester County. She was an assistant professor of medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and has also held teaching positions at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Tarlin is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, where she has served on several committees. She is also an active member of the American Diabetes Association and Endocrine Society.

In addition, Dr. Tarlin has co-authored publications and presented community lectures on a variety of endocrinology-based topics.

Her clinical interests include diabetes both type 2 and type 1, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary tumors, osteoporosis, obesity, and polycystic ovary syndrome.
